Belgium Business Trip

It is better late than never. So I’ve decided to write about my first business trip to Belgium.

Actually, I’d like to highlight some moments from my experience.

First of all about beautiful Belgium — French-speaking Brussels, expensive and rich Antwerpen, film-famous Brugge. It’s a really great and amazing country with beautiful Gothic architecture and tasty chocolate.

Secondly (but not less important) as the rule for each country — people. Everyone was so helpful and interested in communication and sharing their own experience and knowledge, that was fantastic. And one such place with a lot of attentive and attractive people was Coworking Hive5 and Gael who was so kind to meet me up with all my questions. If you’ll be in Brussels — Have5 -must visit and say hi from me, please.

Another one was Antwerpen, I’ve found it is not far from the centre of the city where I had the meeting with Colin, and it was called Fosbury&Sons with a gorgeous cafe — CoffeeLabs.

In Brugge, you don’t need to find such a place because the city is the best place to get some relaxation and inspiration from free walking. The atmosphere of Brugge made me feel like local and Green Rides can help you to make your walks faster if you’re pretty busy.

Sooo… My story isn’t about lifehacks of the personal meeting or even success cases because during my travel I’ve realized that in the rush of modern sale channels which are so popular in Ukrainian IT community now, that forgot about one of the most important thing — experience and knowledge, the cultural difference which differs from ours, and communication which is worth than amount that should be covered. Of course, it’s necessary because of business, but sometimes I feel like we all forget about the main point — communication which shouldn’t be estimated or repaid. It’s just can be or not without planning all steps of the dialogue.
